Yes, Bay Area is a two-year compilation of insightful musings on the rich, diverse, and often quirky culture of the San Francisco Bay Area. With his signature style and sense of humor, LB delivers Tweet after randomly hilarious Tweet with an inside edge that only a lifelong resident and native son of "The Bay" can. Yes, Bay Area is as much a travel and culture guide as it is an homage to the uniqueness of the San Francisco Bay Area. About Lyrics Born Lyrics Born (Tsutomo "Tom" Shimura) is a Bay Area native and lifelong resident of Berkeley, California. As a self-described "Slasher," he has spent the past twenty years forging a successful career as an award-winning rapper, em-singer, songwriter, producer, performer, and voice-over talent. In the '90s he co-founded the seminal independent record label Quannum Projects, and has released eight albums including Later That Day, As You Were, and Latyrx, The Album as half of the duo Latyrx alongside Lateef the Truthspeaker. His music and voice-overs have appeared in countless movies, television shows, video games, and commercials, and he continues to be a mainstay on the worldwide touring and festival circuit. He is currently working on his ninth full-length release, Latyrx, The Second Album.
